PGY3

Most residents will complete their 12 month outpatient rotation during PGY 3.  Outpatient opportunities include a community psychiatry outpatient clinic, University outpatient clinic, VA outpatient clinic, and Student Health.  In addition to outpatient the residents will complete a psychotherapy clinic in which residents will have the opportunity to follow psychotherapy patients long-term.  The community placement experience allows residents to work in a community facility for one-half day per week.  Community placement experiences include a campus psychology clinic, a community counseling center, and a drug treatment center.  The third year resident will complete one required Grand Rounds.

Third Year Call Requirements
The call requirement will be met during the third year for most residents.  Once the requirement is met, residents will be scheduled for back-up call.
